As my title says HOW COULD I RESIST, I am defiantely a lover of chocolate, easter is a weak time for me and this weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is one that I really enjoyed eating, I mean creating :-)

JAI 64 - Chocolate Wrapper Colour Combination and my inspiration chocolate wrapper was the Cadbury Flake bar, just pure flaky melt in your hands chocolate.

Yummy! So I have decided to make a Thankyou card just the sort of card you can give someone with the flake chocolate bar. Simple but nice!

JAI 63 - Inspriation Challenge

Oooh I loved this Just Add Ink 63-  Inspiration Challenge I have never tryed an Inspiration challenge before and as soon as I had seen  this one I knew straight away what I was going to do.

So here is the inspriation,

Here is my design.
Stamps: Every Moment
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Real Read
Accessories: Scallop Circle Die, Modern Label Extra large punch, Jewel rhinstone, Brights Dsp Pack, Circle Cutter, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Blender Pens

I have to admit I aint a great at colouring in, my daughter seems to stay in the lines better then I do and she is only 3. This is a basic card and could be used for many different occiasions not really sure what one I will use it for yet but I am sure it wont be long before I use it.

The big scalloped real red circle, daffodil delight circle and the whisper white circle which I have stamped the daisies and masked them to give it a bit of depth, all have been embossed together. I have then layered the colour butterflies on top and put a jewel on one daisy to make it stand out. I have used the Brights DSP (Daffodil Delight) as part of the background also stamped the butterfly in wild wasabi on the card.

I hope you like my card as much as I do and my daughter, if you would like to know any techinque that I have used on this card please dont hestitate to contact me.

Challenge complete...

Hello stampers

OMG I just looked and seen that I havent done a posting since November, so first of all Happy New Year to all of you even though I know its now March.

So I am hosting a workshop this friday for a group of ladies that I regularly craft with and they wanted to see something for mothers day, though some of the ladies no longer have there mothers around so I wanted to come up with something that they can give to a either mother, daughter or a friend. I went for a Mini Photo Wallet that I had seen on  Bronwyn Eastleys Blog, I found the design but couldnt get the right colour combination, lucky enough JUST ADD INK has a colour challenge this week, so I have decided to join in.
JAI 60- Colour Challenge

Here is what I came up with:

The photo doesnt show it correctly but the the scalloped circle, layed circles and the 2 flowers have been embossed together and I have put a jewel in the middle of the old olive flower, have just learnt this technique and found it really effective, The F on the mini photo wallet has been raised with dimensionals to give it depth.

Stamps:  Vintage Vogue, Very Vintage Roller
Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, DSP Cottage Wall (retired)
Ink: Rich Razzleberry,Old Olive,Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Accessories: Jewels, Square Lattice embossing folder, diamensinals, 2-3/8 Scalloped circle punch, 1-3/4 circle punch, Circle cutter

Have really enjoy making this card and I hope that my ladies enjoy making it on friday. I have done a couple of workshops with them though I have only shown them cards as I more of a cardmaker, all of them are scrapbookers so it has been a bit of a hard one to come up with to try and combine the two of them together and get what they want to see. Enjoy looking and if there is anything you want to know dont hestitate to ask!

Lots of Stampin love
